If you're new and want to keep things easy, you can use the Twitter interface directly through twitter.com Web site. The site enables you to find people, search for topics, edit your profile and see what your others are saying. You can also use the Twitter to follow groups. But you must check the website to send and receive tweets. If you want to know what your friends are saying, you won't get updates unless you're constantly visit the site.
